This is a two day course that begins at 7:00AM until 3:00PM each day. Staying healthy and safe while working on inspection, cleaning, and restoration projects is a technicians primary and most important task! This IICRC HST certification course will review occupational health and safety procedures and practices with real-life, on-the-job scenarios that cleaning and restoration technicians face every day! HST instructors will use simple explanations and fun learning lessons, exercises, and review to provide the education needed to understand workplace health and safety…and pass the IICRC HST certification exam…guaranteed! This class will include topics such as: Intro to occupational safety Workplace hazards assessment Personal protective equipment Engineering controls & safety equipment Airborne hazards (smoke, mold, microbes) Chemical hazards Biological hazards & bloodborne pathogens Emergency preparedness Electrical safety And many other industry related topics! This class structure will include all the necessary study guides, workbooks, exam preparation tools and reviews so you feel confident to take the IICRC HST certification exam and pass…the first time!
